Program Description

Foundation Course

All admitted students need to attend a foundation course before they can enter the MBBs program. After completing the three-month foundation course, they can start their MBBS studies. The tuition fee for the foundation course is about RMB 12,500.

This Sep. intake students are also required to pay the tuition fee for the pre-mbbs(foundation) course. But if apply now, can directly start classes this Sep. The school will supplement the preparatory courses that the students are missing during the mbbs learning process.

Internship

Students need to do the internship/training in China,and the tuition will cover the internship fee.

If international students would like to do the internship in China, the University would help student choose a hospital.

The students will do the internship in the 14 affiliated hospitals and 1 teaching institution with a total of nearly 10442 beds.

Degree Awarded

On completing the requirements of the teaching program and passing the graduation examinations successfully, international medical undergraduates will be granted a graduation certificate and conferred a medical degree by the university, if they meet the degree regulations of the university. The English copy of the degree will state MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery).

Entry Requirements

1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passportbetween the ages of 18 and 30

2. Good health, meet the corresponding professional admission conditions: proper eye sights with no color vision deficiency; normal function of hearing, smell and expression; Anyone with infectious diseases ( hepatitis B, HIV, syphilis, tuberculosis, etc. ) and chronic diseases are required to be completely cured before applying; Applicants with a history of mental disorder are not recommended to apply. International School has the rights to terminate student’s application who don’t meet the health requirements.

3. Comply with the laws and reaulations of the People’s Republic of China and the reevant reaulations of the University.

4. English Requirements:

(1) Native English speakers do not need to take English examination.

(2) Students who attend English speaking secondary schools need to provide evidence in order to waive the Enalish examination

(3) We require the score report of TOEFL/IELTS or other English test certificate for all international applicants whose primary native language is not English and who attend a non-English speaking secondary school. Minimum scores of 80 on TOEFLor 6.0 on the ILTS are recommended.

5. High school graduates or higher degrees with qualifying grades of mathematics, physics and chemistry.

6. Reauirements of the reaulations set in the Document No.12(2020)of Ministry of Education of the PRC should be met: Accordina to the requlations released by Ministry of Education,China, if parent(s)was(were)a Chinese citizen settling in a foreign country at the time applicants were born, applicants must have obtained their current foreign citizenship before April 30, 2019. In addition, the applicant must have lived outside China for at least 2 years during the period between April 302019 and April 30, 2023. Emigrants from Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan applying as international students must have obtained their current foreigr citizenshin before Anril 30.2019. In addition, the anplicant must have lived outside China for at least 2 years during the period between April 30, 2019 and April 30, 2023.

Application Documents

1. Guarantor Form for International Applicants of the University

2. Diploma of highest degree conferred or proof of impending graduation. (for applicants in their final year of study)

Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or Enalish should be translated into Chinese or Enalish and be certified by notarization.

3. Transcripts of highest degree conferred.

Academic transcript in languades other than Chinese or Enalish should be translated into Chinese or Enalish and be certified by notarization.

4. Photocopy of valid passport identification page. (Only ordinary passport is accepted)

Applicants currently residing in China must provide a copy of the page containing a valid visa or residence permit.

5. Passport photo

A recent passport-sized photo of the applicant.

7. Physical examination record for foreigner

Physical Examination Record with blood test results (Hepatitis B surface antigen, HIV, syphilis and TB） within six month. Anyone with chronic disease or genetic disease need to notify International School.

8. None criminal offend certificate.

None Criminal Offend Certificate provided by local Police Department within six month.

9. Statement of Financial Support for International Students

The guarantor’s own or the student’s Bank Deposit Certificate(The minimum amount should be 15.000 USD)

Application Documents

18-30 years old non-Chinese citizens who are in good health and holding valid ordinary foreign passports, and applicants under the age of 18 are required to provide guardianship certificates.

(1) Information page of valid passport, all visas to China or residence permit pages (if any).

(2) High-school diploma. Prospective diploma applicant must submit official proof of student status by their current school. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.

(3) Academic transcripts of high-school. These transcripts shall be issued and sealed by the student management department. They can be in Chinese or English, but must be attached with notarized English translations if they are in foreign languages other than English.

(4) Language Proficiency Certificate. To apply for majors taught in English, applicants must meet at least one of the English proficiency requirements: TOEFL score ≥80 / IELTS ≥6.0 / Native English speaker / English as the medium of instruction for master program / other valid evidence of equivalent English proficiency like Duolingo.

(5) A study plan proposal. A study plan written in Chinese or English shall contain more than 500 characters or words.

(7) Non-criminal record report. The applicant shall submit a valid certificate of Non- Criminal Record issued by the local public security authority, usually issued within 6 months prior to the submission date of the application.
